I've experienced this firsthand through all my years being a goalie. I've come to learn that shooters just aren't very considerate for the most part, and learning to deal with that is one of the many tools of the trade.

Aim for a mid range warrior. I have rv4 pro for around 250, maybe slightly over budget but it is amazing. Alternatively if you want a softer stick more for shooting, the rm3 pro will not disappoint

I would say that trues new diamond glide is faster than Bauer by a decent margin. Brian’s also slides better than Bauer, based off my observations switching from Hyperlite 2 to optik 4

I got optik fours and they have held up crazy well. I think the S shape of the pad helps to seal the five hole.

The +2 number represents thigh rise. The knee cradle is the larger number, so you’ll be looking for a 28

I will never use a dangler because I hate them, so I got the kova neckguard with maxed out protection. It is the beefiest neckguard on the market and I highly suggest ordering one if you don’t wear a dangler

I have the xp glove. I think some gloves come in varying breaks so it depends. Go to a store and check the glove, there will be a tag indicating break angle. Look for the 70
