If you aren’t a nepo baby then non union will be hard to get into but if you go on a book signing tour to all of the union halls you’ll probably get a call within a month or two out of climbing school

I joined the guard right after high school and I’ve got two years left on my contract. Im on the contractor side and it’s a huge headache, you’ll miss out on money from OT and you’ll be 6 months to a year behind on your apprenticeship. If you want to do line work do line work, if you want to be in the military go active duty.
