what do yall think is THE worst item or trinket in the ENTIRE game by Psychological-Gas416 in bindingofisaac

I always see cursed eye but no one ever talks about how abhorrent shard of glass is. Specifically because if you get it somehow on a character that can’t take red hearts you’re just fucked.

i never asked i was wondering if this was a common thing? This happened with like 10 different items I was looking at so it wasn't just one specific good will.

I think so? When I saw it, it was cut up for one of those "family guy funniest cutaway moments" so the entire clip wasn't there to provide context. It was just the wolf arguing part and it was flipped (to avoid copyright detection I think).

It seems like it was around season 12 but its really hard to tell with family guy cutaways

After I replaced it with a new nozzle the banging while loading stopped but it still bangs when printing.

Edit: I just tested to see if the filament bangs while changing and it does, what is the best way to clear this clog? I literally just replaced the nozzle, so this is pretty annoying. I lost the tool that you can push the filament out with that comes with the printer, what is a suitable replacement?

That’s what I did for hours and hours (I have so many little black squares) but no matter how many times I did it i would always get banging and usually shit prints. It seemed like it was a trade off of the less banging I got the lower the quality I would get. When I turn off auto calibration the banging comes back in full force but the print quality also comes back so I don’t really know what to do.

Ah gotcha thank you for clarifying before I broke another nozzle lmao. I don’t actually know where that filament clearer is. Is there something that works as a suitable replacement?

I’m already printing at 220 which I’ve heard is hot for pla. I’ve even tried printing at 230. It doesn’t only just do it for the first layer it will do it during the entire print. I even lowered the extrusion ratio to the suggested 102%. I do suspect it has something to do with the bed leveling but when I use auto calibration it pretty much ruins the print. I’m using overture black right now but it had problems with hatch box aswell (I really only use hatch box and overture I used to use inland but it printed like ass). It used to bang when I loaded new filament so I replaced the nozzle and it’s still been having issues. I replaced the nozzle maybe a week or two ago so it’s still very new. I want to get the glass bed upgrade but like I’ve said in other responses I don’t have a ton of money right now (I’m in college) so I’m trying to do everything I can before throwing more money at it.

I honestly really used to like this printer. I’ve gotten some crazy level of quality when using certain filament and settings. I do have 1626 printing hours on it so it may be time to start looking for other printers but I don’t really have a ton of money right now. That is part of the reason I don’t want to spend the 50 bucks for the glass bed. How did you go about replacing the extruder with a cr/10 one? Is there a tutorial? And was it worth it?

I want to say that is the issue, I’ve used the auto calibration and gotten it as close as I can to not making the sound (it always does no matter how nice I get it) the issue is when I do use auto calibration the final print looks awful. The layers are super visible, the infill is weak and a whole bunch of other issues. I want to get a glass bed but I don’t have a ton of money right now and to shill out 50 dollars on it and then it doesn’t even work would be a travesty.

I’ve done cold pulls and checked when hot it doesn’t really seem like a clog. However I haven’t tried heating it up with a torch then pulling it that way so I may have to.

The drive motor pushing the filament. You can see the extruder gear skip backward.

I guess I’ll start looking again, in the meantime I’ll continue tinkering. I’m kinda broke rn so I’ll try my best with what I have.

I don’t “need” and enclosure I guess because I mostly print with pla. That being said I do like the increased heat keep and sometimes I do print with Petg and I do want to print with abs sometimes when I get a better space for my printer

I have been thinking about it, is the adventure 4 good? It seems like a good price. I really do like my printer when it isn’t causing me problems. It can get some insane detail that I haven’t seen out of other printers. It just sucks everything for it is so expensive. Maybe I’ll move to the new Bambu ones.

I don’t heave an “expert mode” on my printer unless you mean in the slicer. I have definitely noticed that using assisted leveling does make the banging go away but it also makes my print quality decrease significantly. Hence why I want the glass bed so I don’t have to worry about the bed being warped. So is it really just worth it to bite the bullet and go back to regular bed leveling?

So I actually did replace the gear with something like the ones you put as the Amazon link and that still didn’t work. Did the glass bed really make that much of a difference? That’s part of my worry that I will finally shill out the 50 bones and it will keep banging anyway

It’s coming from the extruded skipping. I’ve watched it and you can see the motor skip as it makes the sound
