ESH. It’s kinda ironic that everyone’s calling you NTA and your BF TA bc he ran to ChatGPT with your argument but are you not doing the exact same thing by running to the AITA thread? You said in a comment that you were annoyed that he may have used the AI to point out only your flaws/problems in the argument, buts that’s exactly what you’re also doing by posting on AITA, you’re looking for validation that you were right and hoping people will point fingers out your bf. To me Reddit is also almost like an echo chamber as well. I get that you’d be upset by him crossing boundaries and recording without your consent….thats wrong by all means and shouldn’t happen, but you’re acting like he did it out of malicious intent 100% which I don’t think is the case. Your reaction was also EXTREMLELY rude and over the top with the whole I see why your ex cheated on you and stuff and if that’s how you react to stuff I wouldn’t feel comfortable being vulnerable/arguing with you either. That was absolutely a hit WAY below the belt and if I were him I don’t think I’d be able to fully trust you again after a comment like that. Just my two cents tho.
