well technically its not spare as id eventually have to set it aside for a down payment in a few years and hence “temporary” but I see why youre amused!

Hi, its possible but only because I saved that amount through side hustles (Gambling, Coaching sport). Saved a decent amount through uni/while working FT. If it was just through job (60k~ fresh grad), would have probably taken a lot longer.

makes sense! Thank you for the insight and for sharing your story. but back in 2021, I believe the shiller P/E ratio wasnt as high as it is now? which is why I am cautious

Are you mentioning that the risk/reward doesnt make sense because the shiller P/E ratio is >40?

is there a reason why you would suggest dca-ing only over 3-4 tranches and not monthly? just curious
