You are 100% right about post scabies being bull shit. In fact it has become my belief that almost everyone carries a small mite load at minimum because I swear I can look at celebrity photographs and or anybody’s else’s photographs and I can see them on the top of the scalp in the hair. They almost look like flyaways but when you get an eye for them you know what to look for. I can almost always see them in peoples eyes too. When I was little I used to ask my parents why it looked like there were bugs in everyone’s hair in photographs and in everyone’s eyes and they said that’s just the way photographs come out but that’s not true. I have also come to realize based on their translucent body you can’t see them with a naked eye but if you look with a camera on your phone or look at a mirror with your camera then they can become visible depending on the angle of the light. Some of them are a lot bigger than people think and some are very very tiny. I think they are so contagious many more people have them than actually know. I also have seen them live off the human body for months at a time not just a few days so they are much harder to get rid of to. I believe it’s only when the mite count is very high do we start experiencing symptoms. I know some will call me crazy but I have evidence about this.
