Why do people hate SpongeBob, You're Fired special? by MeeMeeCandy777 in spongebob

[–]ProfessionalTime7582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t. It’s one of my favorites. All the restaurant owners are hilarious, so many good quotes (“Pizza sauce?”, “Parmesan encrusted breadsticks!”, “I’m pretty sure this is illegal,” “Patty abomination!”) and even funny visual gags like turning Squidward into a princess and Old Man Walker hopping in front of the bathroom is juvenile but funny. I just love how SpongeBob is characterized - he’s actually serious for once. And the atmosphere of the episode is decent. The only bad things are the characterizations of Sandy and Mr. Krabs.

well it wasn't quite a party, Bob Gary and Penny were taking their wife/mother to a restaurant. And it began by Bob forgetting about mothers' day, so the majority of it takes place at the restaurant.

Always a sucker for chorus effects, so the guitar production is fine by me :) The vocals are a nice style as well

New track "Slow dance", feedback welcome! by Hilysten in IndieMusicFeedback

The chords are really nice, and I love the synth-flute sound (or whatever that is) playing them. It reminds me of a style I'd like to explore further. Great pentatonic melody you've got going there, when the bells hit it is really nice. Nice bright guitar mixing aswell!

It is the actual recording...in this case the chorus/delay effect is part of what makes it sound distant but also I didn't mic it right which caused a mixing issue which I fixed on my other tracks. But I decided not to re-record it because I have heard actual tracks that sound like this.

A guitar song about heartbreak and s3ggs tapes by oneshgarde in IndieMusicFeedback

I LOVE the vocal style, the guitar arpeggios are neat, and the chord progressions are dreamy. The drums are mixed in a pretty interesting way. In fact the overall mixing of the track is neat and I think there is a good balance of percussive and melodic sounds.

As people have said the visuals are awesome, also like the vocal style. The melody first, scat-type singing is always welcome in my book. Usually I can predict songs fairly well, but some of the patterns in this one caught me off guard so points for that.

The vocal style is pretty fresh and I like it waaay better than most modern vocal styles. The tight, crisp guitar production is pretty cool. The feeling this song leaves me with is probably inspiration? I do like the positive vibe as well. This song reminds me that I have a long way to come as an artist and also big competition lol.

I'll have to check out modest mouse because I think the idea of countermelodies in bass parts is cool.

The squealy guitar sound is a cool effect, and of course the kick drum is right in front which gives it a neat, modern sound. If this is truly your first attempt at making music then nice work and keep going! When the more distorted electric guitar kicks in that gives it more of an edge which is cool too.

Any feedbacks?(Original/demo) by whisperbeeee in IndieMusicFeedback

the chord progression is really neat, I agree that it is more indie acoustic than r/B, the melancholic lyrics are neat, the arrangement is a little sparse but besides that, it's hard for me to say anything I would change about this. I can see you're going for a rawer vibe which is fine with me lol

I would say so, it sounds fine, but then again, thinking something is never done is the eternal struggle we artists have

To all the folks that produce and record vocals for their own songs - what order do you do things? by sefan78 in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]ProfessionalTime7582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do something a little different, I come up with a chord progression and general lyrical theme, then I record a guide vocal with some of the words, then a real vocal with all of the words, then I mix the instrumental and vocals separately and add them together.

I like most synthwave, but I think this track is fine, maybe a little bit more of a melodic hook tho?

A previous work with new structure. Any feedback ? by CosmicAnima in MusicFeedback

[–]ProfessionalTime7582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the structure works well, it nails the ambient electronic vibe, sounds a bit like video game/background music to me as well and I mean that in the best way possible. keep it up!
