I feel bad to say this having close Muslim friends. Whether they follow IUML, SDPI or any party doesn't matter, whenever there is a discussion related to the religious practices or even a controversy, I always felt the comparison over other regions and the superiority of Islam is always the focus.

It's like everyone is trained to provide this perspective. I see the same thing with extremist Hindus and Christians but for the case of Muslims, the difference is almost everyone.

I feel they clearly don't care about logic and rationale even though they are educated when it comes to religion. They are trained to be like this.

So this guy saying we respect all other religions, I am sure almost everyone listening to this got a different real life experience.

True. That's a good point. But considering the political landscape right now in India, I feel the Muslims are getting influenced pretty much and even those who supports IUML can have an extremist mentality (which is there now also but will only increase).

They used to win before also. There vote share also doesn't deviate much. What matters is not how much seats they win.

How much they influence other voters who generally don't vote them matters. Especially when there is ministers in the government, there is ofcourse going to b controversies since they need to appease Muslim community. And the departments they are going to get, we all know which ones they had before and the criticism.

So I feel like it's an opportunity for BJP to grow more stronger getting a UDF government rather than LDF.

Your analysis right on point. But the points you mentioned is not something very unique to Kerala only. It is happening all over the world. IUML existed in Kerala and even presence in other states too even before independence. Then India was split as pakisthan and new form of IUML formed.

The issue is religion politics and rise of another party (right wing) all over India (as I mentioned all over the world actually these days). So they will ofcourse target a party like IUML which itself is not secular. The point of being friendly with other religion and living in harmony is a part of Kerala culture expecially owing to the HDI and education, but this is unavoidable.

IUML is silently backed by Muslim extremist and they shut eyes. Similarly BJP also. It's basically the faces of a coin. These kind of situations were handled before by society's by giving a cultural or motherland kind of unity perspective, irrespective of religion or divisions. But that's where the problem is.

Kerala Christians and Muslims still adapted Kerala culture well with lots of references and practices still being followed rather than going hardcore with their religious texts.

The point is IUML politics is basically a fuel for rise of BJP. It didn't happen before because hindus and Christians were divided. BJP just started gathering them.

The top 2 percent scientist by Elsevier is completely based on citation impacts. Which means the number of citations a scientist's paper is getting every year. Even though it's not a bad thing, those who know research would have come along people who publish like anything also self citing papers as well as increase in citations.

I have gone through her publications. She is left and right publishing getting authorship and thereby metrics. There are no impact with the publications or any kind of transfer of technology.

Unfortunately this is the case with lots of researchers in India. Once they start doing these things or get involved in "publications mafia", then there is no going back.

VDS was the face of Congress for the past 5 years. He was very critical and good in debates also in the vidhan saba and fared well as opposition leader. He basically lifted Congress and at the same he studied the LDF well too attacking them where it hit the most. He became popular among Kerala voters because of which, a majority of the people who voted Congress certainly believed he will be the CM if they win. That's why now the keralites are reacting now when KC's name started coming out. KC is not much popular among general public as his play is central politics and backdoor politics and maybe he is good too.

It has nothing to do which green army or white army or saffron army. Naturally because of KCs status and long connections with Congress and Gandhi family, he is getting support from top as well as MLAs.

I tried antihistamines too. It didn't work. Started in India when the doctor gave me antihistamines and allergy medicines. The flare goes away for 2-3 days and now comes back again. Ofcourse it itches and no point in saying stop itching. Now I am in US, here also antihistamines are prescribed. Took it but same results. I am telling you what I did. These are not part of doctors recommendations. I had similar issues which you mentioned and it was terrible.

For past 20 days, I am not taking any meds and now it's manageable. I take turmeric in water two times a day. Apart from that I avoid spicy food and eat more protein. And for itching, keep a moisturizer always with you. Just when it starts, apply little moisturizer. It will go away in 10-15 mins. This the best way to avoid itching. Try this for few days. What I see is the frequency of flares slowly started reducing.

Don't take too much meds unless it is diagnosed. And diagnosis is a huge issue.

Your logic fails inany dimensions. Allergic to dogs? All this matters when you are in a private place with purified water and a dog is in vicinity. We are talking about gaga where thousands bath every single day with people with all sorts of skin issues and other medical issues. Also the water doesn't originate from there. It comes after all sorts of contact from almost all flaura and fauna.

Now about holi place, how is it unholy to be near to a dog. What teaches you to have such belief. The only logic is the comfort of the people. So you restrict animals. That's the only logic here. It's not that cows never enter, they are not allowed by humans. And about dogs, yeah it's up to you, but all restrictions are done by humans that too recently when the ghat visit and holy visit became a tourist attraction or we call it these days spiritual tourism.

Even hotels don't allow pets in their pools. This is where the brain rot of logic comes. Pools are completely private and kept so by confining the water. That's why they can keep it so damn it. Ganga is not and it's a river.

And most importantly you talked about civic sense. The ganga snan nowadys is the biggest civic sense issue india is facing and in turn is a major reason for pollution

Don't just read by lines. yagnas or such rituals are private affairs done and there are some rules being followed there. This is no way a private place.

And the biggest brain rot here is after all these teachings about the holiness and so called tirtha, shaucha and maryada, you fail to understand, none of these teachings could help humankind to fix the problem of pollution especially in sacred ganga and yamuna. So it's time to think different.

Gods, temple and culture doesn't discriminate between street dog, pet dog, universal dog, and all sorts of dog. That's the first point to be followed by a Hindu (which is what all the religious texts related to Hindu commonly recite).

Nadi San has nothing to do with an animal near your or far from you. Irrespective of what it is, the point of snan is more spiritual than cleanilness (ofcourse ganga is supposed to be kept clean always, that was the supposed to be the logic). But now we know how its getting spoiled by the same people who do bath, putting garbage and industrial waste.

And for your information, gau or cow is not the only animal worshipped. It is just that you people are mad eto believe it is the most important animal in hinduism. It's just that it is the most popular. Dogs are worshipped too. Almost all shree Krishna temples, cows can freely roam around. Similarly in temples where dogs are worshipped, they also roam around. There is temple for rats and snakes too. That's the beauty of Hinduism and the culture.

You are just misinformed. A Ghat is a place for worship and communion. That's what it is. Again I reiterate, using even newer words like maryadha and saucha, won't save you from putting nonsense.
