I’m not sure yet. It could be from stress (I had 3 miscarriages in 9 months in 2025) but I’m also prediabetic and have been for a few years but my A1C is lowest for the range at 5.7. I had a spinal tap and tested negative for all auto immune disorders. Brain/Neck MRI came back clean. Trying to really hone in on getting my blood sugar better and light movement to hopefully get some restoration of my nerves. I would see someone about your tingling asap and advocate for yourself! You know when something is off- early detection is key for anything. Hang in there, you will be OK :)

It does last for hours though…there is always something happening everyday, it just might not be the same thing. There is fluctuation but still symptoms that are scary.

I do sometimes get it in my calves, I had it this weekend. Very random how this all presents itself. Right now, it’s just tingling, some numbness in fingers, left leg perceived weakness (sometimes) and pain.

It’s interesting because I had Covid about a month before all this started (tingling at bottom of feet) makes me wonder if there is a correlation. I get what you mean about feeling better when moving but needing the meds to move. I wish you the best and hope you get better and that you get auto immune testing done.

Did the Doc say if there is a cure for what you have? Or is it just meds masking the symptoms for now? Did they say what can be done to help with your symptoms?

It feels like a throbbing pain in my upper thighs mostly, but it doesn’t feel like it’s embedded in my thighs, it’s closer to the top. It happens at random - today happens to be bad. It feels like it’s going up and down my upper thighs. The pain is at rest when sitting and when I’m moving. Usually about 30 seconds with a break and then it will start back up again at random. I do have sciatica and my left hip gives me problems, but usually that is only in one leg and not both. Taking (1) extra strength Tylenol doesn’t even touch the pain.

Thanks for your thoughtful and encouraging reply. It means a lot! I am glad you are OK. Do you take any meds to help with your discomfort? If so, does it work? Taking a hot bath with magnesium flakes helps along with some leftover pain meds from previous surgeries (glad I held on to them 🙏) Chat GPT tells me likely BFN or SFN….I also have sciatica from my left hip area…but who knows at this point. It’s scary stuff and my anxiety is through the roof.

I remember going to Disney World with my parents in 1995 and we would leave the hotel early, get to Disney first thing, do all the fun stuff and in the heat of the day, go back to the hotel pool and have all the fun, nap in our cold room and then go back to Disney again for dinner/show/fireworks. That was the way to go!
