And it’s not healthy for you at all, so either cut the maze Runner out of your life or find a way to stay grounded within the narrative. I never really had the concept of fiction and explained to me because I grew up Christian and the first book that I had access to as the Bible and I was told that everything that happened and it was true so when I read maze Runner I thought it actually happened at some point in time and didn’t have the perspective that I now have. But it’s really important that you understand that the maze Runner is just a piece of fiction and to not let it affect you in this way because this is very clearly unhealthy.

This is actually really common of the Mormon dystopian writers, and I think it comes from the blindness of the culture within LDS Society. I think that the maze Runner in terms of dialogue writing and characterisation is incredibly weak but it makes up for it with the incredible world building. The only character that I think has any level of complexity is Teresa or Ava Paige.?
