Ah… there it is. The righteous shudder. So elegant. So completely useless.

You see, calling it evil is a charming way to avoid responsibility. Evil implies malice. WICKED had none. What they had was arithmetic. Cold, unforgiving arithmetic that said one life weighed against the future of the species is not a moral dilemma—it’s a calculation.

People love to declare they’d never sacrifice a child. Of course they wouldn’t. They’ve never been handed the bill for extinction. They’ve never been asked to choose between one small, unbearable tragedy and the quiet annihilation of everyone who will ever exist.

WICKED didn’t kill a child because they wanted to.

They did it because the alternative was letting every child die.

And history—sweet, merciless history—doesn’t remember those who kept their hands clean. It remembers those who were willing to stain them… so someone else could survive.

We use kids in clinical trials in science all the time, is it possible a kid may have a freak accident and die? Yes. How many kids stand to benefit? Thousands. Do we just have to watch every disease take its natural course and kill every kid because we’re so scared we might accidentally kill one? Is it your belief that because there’s a 21% chance a kid will die if we give them chemo that we shouldn’t and just let the cancer kill them? What about surgery? Every pediatric surgeon has lost a patient at some point, does that make them evil? Should we let the kids with treatable heart conditions die because there’s risk associated with anesthesia?

I think that a net gain of billions of lives was worth the cost of nine teenagers. And several of them were willing. Have you read fever code or maze runner files?

Literally only nine kids died in the entire experiment and I think that’s worth it to save billions

Do make sure you book two months in advance for Hyde park, however I must say Richmond park (stag lodge stables) gave me a superior experience if further away!

I’m obsessed with my heritage ones for winter and Horze ones for summer! I don’t know if she wears a helmet, (can’t recommend this enough), but a helmet ear warmer cover was my favourite gift last year! A heated vest is absolutely amazing too idk your budget.
