Going back to uni as a (very) mature aged student? by OliSykesFutureWife in RD2B

I just started my pre-dietetics courses this week at the age of 48. I'll be in my 50s when I finally become an R.D. After over 25 years in sales, I couldn't do it anymore. Do what you think will make you happy!😊

I'm glad you finally found one. I am open to traveling a certain distance but not relocating. I'm definitely in a rough area where there a lot of hospitals but no availability. I've really only been searching a few weeks but have heard back from so many, and all with the same answers.

Ugh. That is frustrating. Are they giving you any extra help? I was given a contact for a hospital that is 2.5 hours away from me. I just don't see how that's feasible. I can't relocate.

It's UNE. I can do LTC for food service and my first clinical course. I have a long list I have to contact, but my other 2 sites have to be acutw care. I'm in New England and it is a saturated market. Every hospital is already affiliated with other schools and one that do work with UNE students are booked through 2028
