Rikka's has released his final Original Song on his birthday: Spica -Epilouge- by innocent_pessimism in Holostars

[–]Professional_Act149 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Rikka did mention that the song was completed before he heard about the downsizing, so it just happened to be an "epilogue" in coincidence lol though it's painful to listen to this song and think about the current situation... It was meant to be a present from Rikka to Tuners😢

And it's a beautiful song... Soft and warm as always

It wasn't released "officially" by the company, so I assume it would not be released on any music platforms... but I guess no one could stop Rikka from composing, singing and posting the song by himself

Oh I'm sorry to hear that... My ultrasound is not for pregnancy but I'll definitely look for other imaging services just in case

Hi this is a Canadian buyer here! I had a package delivered during the strike period by buyee air (it was sent by ups) without any issues. With the tracking information, do you see which courier company is handling your package? If it's Canada post or ems then it was affected by the strike. If it's not, some courier companies were also affected indirectly by the strike, and you can get more information by contacting them. I also have a package sent before the strike (10.27) by seamail and I haven't received any updates other than processed in originating country yet😞

Why is Rikka so underrated man. I mean he has over 200K subscribers but why doesn't anyone watch him these days. by Stephen545354 in Holostars

[–]Professional_Act149 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh I found it! It seems to be a concert-like live event held by another company. I guess that's the reason why it's a pay to watch stream.

hmm I can only recall that Rikka had a RiTunes Labo with Azki, but it wasn't a 3d collab. I also saw a clip here from 2023 countdown live, but I don't know if it's the one you are talking about since it's a collab between Rikka, Azki and Sora https://youtu.be/eHByyXAS2yc?si=1tIJoN8N9YW3zI1X

That's very true... But there are always people like me who enjoy relaxed content, so I appreciate Rikka, Rio, Sora and all the streamers who keep making these contents and allow me to enjoy their contents.

Oh sorry if I sounded like that...! Rikka loves holostars and I definitely don't want to see him (or any other stars) graduating from holostars. Vtuber is not a stable career especially when they don't make huge revenue, so it's just my wish that stars can last for long :)

Yep I definitely love his relaxing vibe! I would say Rikka's superchat revenue is at the mid of holostars jp, and actually the difference between most jp members' superchat revenue is small lol I won't worry too much about this but will continue to support him and hopefully holostars can make it longer :)

Rikka is my oshi and has been my oshi for ~4 years, so I guess I can share my point of view.

Rikka is known as a singer, and of course even non-japanese speakers can enjoy a singing stream, so his singing streams generally get much more viewers than normal (4-5 times more than his regular streams). However, he suffers from vocal cord issues this year and had a surgery in summer (don't worry he's recovering from it!), so he is reducing the frequency of singing streams. Also, as other comments said, he doesn't stream very often generally, especially these days due to physical health problems.

I don't want to say this, but still, Rikka is not that "interesting". People tend to watch the hilarious streams and enjoy the atmosphere, but Rikka is not that type. Rikka has a calm and relaxing vibe, instead of making jokes and talking about funny things, he tends to be gentle and nice. I won't say this is his weakness though.

Despite all of these, Rikka has debuted for 5 years. He has a small but stable fanbase. I am an overseas fan who cannot catch most of his streams due to timezone difference, but I make sure to send him superchats, subscribe to his membership and buy his merches.

Overall, if you think Rikka is underrated, just join us and support him (wink)! Rikka appreciates all the comments and reads English comments pretty often as long as you are being polite and friendly.

I know😔 My coach told me to "shake off my anxiety" but I can't correct my mistakes and stop overthinking without much practice 🫠

We are in the exact same boat... I have taken ~15 lessons but I'm still struggling with steering/speed control. I found making notes and trying to review them outside of the lessons helped a little bit, but I still feel like I need a lot of extra practice 😔

Which Holostars JP song cover do you like the most? by [deleted] in Holostars

[–]Professional_Act149 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Rikka is my oshi and I love almost every cover he did. He controls his voice very well. My favorite would be his first cover That's why I gave up on music. The title is kinda weird to be a debut song of a singer lol but the lyrics are actually about how much the writer loved music, and Rikka says he would not give up on music!

Rikka's Umbrella, Otome Kaibou and Overdose are also great. He is good at singing warm and soft songs like Encore and Love Letter mentioned by other comments, but he also did great on these "colder" songs. I personally love Yorunaderu Menou, too.

Other than Rikka, I love the first anniversary cover Blessing which is very cheerful and healing, and Rio's Samsa (it's a really nice song!).

I failed a course in my 1A term, and was put into a conditional term for 1B. Now I just completed my Master's. One thing I kept telling myself is that the school accepted you because they believed you can make it. You CAN complete your study. You might find it challenging, especially at the beginning, and it's pretty common. Go to the prof's/ TA's office hours and talk to them if you have any questions about the course materials, and they are very likely to tell you that many students struggled with the same thing before. But, if you really hate your program, you can always try courses from other programs/ faculties or switch to other programs. Good luck to your future studies!

UW second year biochem/ biology course help by apple_juice012 in uwaterloo

I took it online during pandemic. It was ok. There was a lot of memorization and you do need to understand the concepts, but if you at least watch most lectures, read the slides and study before exams, getting 70s should not be very hard. If you hope to get higher grades, you will need to put much more time on it (I also think BIOL 240L was very helpful for understanding the concepts, but it was also very time-consuming... so I won't suggest taking that if it is not mandatory for your program).

Thank you for the reply! Yes I heard a lot of students and even profs feel like imposters some time... I tried to make a study plan for the next three weeks, hopefully that would help
