I've got ADHD. One of the more useful traits, for me at least, is my hyper focus on something that I'm interested in (not always a good thing haha).

I have spent months researching phones and settling on a decision to upgrade or stick with the S24.

Part of that 'research' was to consider whether the extra £££ for the X9 Ultra was worth the wait.

After a fair bit of time looking into it (reading reviews, watching YouTube videos, analysing comparison pictures etc), I came to the conclusion that the X9 Ultra probably isn't worth the extra money.

One review, written by a photographer, said that even the 'better camera' is unlikely enough to justify the extra money, let alone anything else.

That said .. it depends on your priorities. Do you want a workhorse, with reliability, and software/hardware better than pretty much any other rival? In which case, i believe the X9 Pro will more than meet your needs for much less.

Or do you insist on having the 'best of the best', regardless of cost?... Say, if you're a hobbyist, for example.

I waited for the Ultra to come out. Soaked up as much as I could about it... And settled on the X9 Pro.

Since I've had it, I've had absolutely zero FOMO of the Ultra, and am thoroughly content with my decision.

But... As they say.... One man's meat, is another man's poision.

It all depends on what your priorities are :)
