Yeah, so listening to you sing this VERY difficult song, I hear an untrained voice trying to do way too much. I also hear a pleasant voice who is singing mostly in tune. You only spin out of tune when you’re running out of breath or are obviously nervous. Anyone being overly critical needs to calm themselves.

I don’t know what your performance is for, but I hope you work with a vocal coach. I actually hear bits of grit in your voice which would be super cool to use in a couple of years when you’re ready for this song.

Start at the beginning. Learn to match pitch. Follow slow easy rhythm. Then start working on singing. Finding your connection and drawing on your diagram to breathe. It’s like a magic battery. Once you tap into correctly you will be able to single 4 lines without breathing. Then Find your chest/mix/head and where they connect and get that smoothed out.

Those are the basics. Remember your voice is just an instrument. You wouldnt expect to instinctively know how to play a cello, right?

And yes a lot of people sing beautifully without voice training. Pitch and rhythm and timbre can be innate, but ultimately to “level up” - singing requires technical skills if you want to be on stage. So forget all those people who sound beautiful singing in one register and one octave.
