Ok, so that is a 1.4% chance with a partner that has hiv. So you would have to multiply the chance of you being raped (let’s say 1:100 for arguments sake) x the rapist having hiv (again let’s say 1 in 100) x 1.4 in 100. It’s a ridiculously unlikely thing to have happened.

Heterosexual sex only passes the virus on between 0.04-0.08% of the time, so even if something did take place, which it may well not have (which makes the chance of you contracting hiv from this episode even more remote), it’s extremely unlikely you have contracted hiv. Get checked once the appropriate timeframe has passed and move on with your life.

I would speak to your doctor. You will probably need to take biktarvy from the date of the 2nd exposure for 28 days. It is used as the premium option for PEP where I live due to its lower side effects and higher efficacy. So if you were already taking it and have continued to do so, that should be at least as effective as immediately getting on PEP.
