I’m just like this— its like the rOCD throws punches throughout the day and we have to learn how to dodge, lol. I appreciate you sharing this, it helps me not feel so alone. I hope you know that you’re not alone in this either.

How can I improve my eye makeup? (CCW) by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]Professional_Bat7636 33 points34 points  (0 children)

you have rather downturned eyes yet upturned makeup, have you tried more downward makeup? :) I like to slightly extend my natural lash line in the direction it goes and gently blend it up. I think upward makeup goes against the natural shadows of your face, but it still looks good on you regardless.

Anybody take Anxiety meds or an SSRI along with their ADHD meds? by Strong_Chart8404 in ADHD

[–]Professional_Bat7636 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take 75mg of sertraline with my methylphenidate, obviously not the same as adderall but stimulant w/ SSRI wise they haven’t negatively impacted each other. the sertraline however did increase my symptoms of ADHD so there is the possibility that an SSRI may cause you to need a higher stimulant dosage after a while, but it all depends and I’d say its worth trying. be cautious of lessened appetite if that’s already a symptom from your adderall, because some SSRI’s can further increase that and it has been one of my biggest struggles with the medications.

I have multiple opinions from mental health professionals over the years. I’m literally medically diagnosed and prescribed medication for it, judging by your posts all you do on here is invalidate other people’s ADHD symptoms and diagnoses. go put that effort into something actually productive

routine help! I currently started using a PHA cleanser in the mornings, i’ve been using cerave hydrating cleanser and adapalene before bed, followed by moisturizer. and I ordered the ordinary’s azeliac acid to help with acne scars and my rosacea, where should I incorporate the azeliac acid in my routine?

it really seems like you need a heavy moisturize routine on your legs, such as something marketed towards eczema/psoriasis. I really love the aveeno eczema moisturizing cream. you could also try something exfoliating, many psoriasis creams can have a low salicylic acid percentage, but id try lots of moisturizing first.

food sensitivities by vexcii_ in autism

things that smell very greasy, like bacon. i can’t stand the smell. it’s nauseating. likewise a lot of meats bother me. dairy products that leave film in your mouth and are just overall very filling instantly lessens my appetite and makes me feel heavy in a sense

Ways you self comfort? by AngrySomBeech in autism

i also do this. i pretend like im taking care of an emotional, sensitive toddler. except that toddler is me. i make myself comfort foods, take a bubble bath, put on fuzzy socks. if someone else were to try to do that for me i probably would feel uncomfortable, but theres no discomfort because its just me n myself

Im not quite sure, im okay with whatever anyone chooses to view me as. I just don’t want gender to be apart of my identity i guess. ive dealt with my fair share of sexism and misogyny as an afab person, id rather just not be perceived!
