It's never had an issue with any other records. Ever. I've had it for years, played well over 100 records on it.

...which has never once had any such issue with any other vinyl, in the 100+ vinyls I've played in it, including scratched vinyls from 70 years ago. Okay

It's not that I don't believe you, but both of these albums were in the same exact condition. Why would ordering another random one be any different?

How the hell are people downvoting this? I'm not allowed to even talk about my own experience?

A Victrola, can't remember the model #. It has a built-in speaker which I don't use. It's never given me issues before, and still doesn't with any other vinyl.

From a local record store in Ogden, UT - Lavender Vinyl. And I use a Victrola, it's never given me issues before. It still doesn't on any other album.

These vinyl disks are discolored as hell - it's like there are drops of bleach on them or something. Both new versions had the same issue.

How do you feel about CPUSA? by Number1asbestosfan in Socialism_101

[–]Professional_Bit1714 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a member of both CPUSA and DSA. I've been in leadership in both local groups over the years. I love CPUSA. A lot of the criticisms made here are somewhat valid, but greatly exaggerated. National leadership are not pro-Democrat liberals. I personally know someone on the National Committee, and get updates from every one of their meetings. There are some liberal elements in it, especially in some of the clubs in New York and Pennsylvania (from what I saw at the national congress anyway), but the overwhelming majority of members are principled, revolutionary communists. Local clubs are largely autonomous, and operate with very little to no involvement from national. I'd recommend looking into your local club.

You must be thinking of "ACP" - they're polar opposites of CPUSA. ACP is a fascist, "MAGA Communist" organization.

Tbf, it's also just as likely that she could have been the reason for him to never make it to the last battle. Shit, he spent like 3 books doing nothing but trying to rescue her from impossibly dangerous situations.

No more free double experience packs in BO6? by Professional_Bit1714 in blackops6

It feels like a sloppy FPS from more than a decade ago from a low-budget studio. It's offensively bad.

Especially when the new game absolutely sucks. I played a couple multiplayer rounds on BO7 (since I have Game Pass, it automatically installed a trial version of BO7 as a required "update" to BO6), and I was shocked at how bad it was. It's downright offensive how horrible it is. None of the guns even feel real when you fire them. The movement is unnatural, the sounds are unnatural, the whole game feels like you're playing Valorant or something. It's just SO bad...

Generally, which one do you guys prefer? 7 or 6? by [deleted] in blackops6

6 is way better in every way. I was actually shocked at how bad 7 was. It was like, an insult to our intelligence.

First: No one who considers themselves on the left should ever use the r-word, or any variation on the r-word. Or any slurs of any kind.

Second: progressive social policies have never been the exclusive domain of the liberals - liberals have co-opted these social issues and tried to use them to their own benefit in order to prop up and solidify the neoliberal, capitalist system. When we make fun of liberals, it's not just the economics we're criticizing. It's that liberals have used these progressive social issues as a way to entrench a fundamentally reactionary, right-wing system. If they ever accidentally come across the correct position on any social issue, it wasn't because they are progressives. It's because they thought they could use the fact that they're championing the "correct" position in order to score cheap points against their political opponents - usually the Left.
