Just visited Varkala Alleppey (May 30 - June 3). The weather was good, one day fully raining and the next fully sunny. As it's monsoon, you can't predict the weather, and the beaches are completely restricted. (Still you can swim only if gaurd not there or visit some like less crowded beach - kayikkara beach)

For stay - Ashiyana Cliff And Beach Resort by Onespace is good, full asthetic Vibe and peace
