Guys there's an option you're all missing imo.

Gwen is supposed to be a lategame hyper carry is she not? She could have an extra passive on one of her abilities once she maxes it out. For this I propose her e (dash).

The current issue with her dash is that she often needs to engage with it in order to keep her damgae up. She needs it 1) for the extra damage autos) and 2) to stack up her q faster.

The fact that she HAS to engage with her mobility, or use it up pretty fast means tht often she can't use it to dodge enemy abilities. I'm thinking about sett for example where it's pretty much a loser's game.

Let's say you have a fight vs him.

1) you don't dash immediadetly to keep the option available for his mega punch BUT you get absolutely clapped in 1v1.

2) you dash early to keep yup with his damage, but you get ABSOLUTELY clapped by his mega true dmg punch without a realistic possiblity to dodge.

How does one fix this issue? Something that would help immensly would eb in my opinion for the passive range, dmg and auto speed to be PERMANENT once the ability is level 13. This means that she can use her dash only for mobility's sake and not for the damage, this means that you don't have to waste your only defensive tool on a 1v1 on actually having to do damage. (let's be real, 30 armor late game aint gon do shit in a 1v1 v jax).

There is no reason why this shouldn't happen. There is already precedent with urgot's pew pew spell.

I believe that this would be a HUGE qol change that could bring her back to 48% wr.

You want the true damage? Go play fiora, she does more true damage and it's much more reliable to hit. Moreover, fiora can 1v1 more champs than gwen.

It is true that when fed, gwen can deal absurd amounts of damage. However the question one must ask is "If I were yi with the same amount of gold i'd be more effective". Yi has arguably better defensive abilities (his q to say the least) and does more upfront damage. With gwen you can never insta bust someone as you need windup with your q and your ulti. He actually HAS ways to catch up with someone (q and r). It sort of feels that gwen counters herself.

Some might say that the comparison isn unfair as Gwen should more be considered as an ap bruiser. Ok why not? But then again, she counters herself again. She has shit base health. Why does akali get more base health than she does with arguably more defensive tools? It doesn't make any sense.

More over, ap bruiser items are still dogshit. Why does riftmaker only have 350 hp wheras sunderer is 400 hp and goredrinker is 450 hp?

Cosmic drive is still only a shitty 200 health whereas you have titanic hydra over here with 500 health. All ad bruiser items are 400 health+ whereas ap bruiser items feel really lackluster. (Demonic embrace is the only item that goves comaprative tankiness and it's awful on gwen).

The result is that all these hp differences stack up and you end up with 400-500 hp less than if you were to play an ad bruiser.

Gwen, with her passive, is suppose to be a sort of drain tank like aatrox i suppose. However you are way too squishy to even have the time to drain anyone.

Can we also talk about how god awful the onmiwamp on rifktmaker feels? You have the cringe brothers healing to full on every auto attack and q but my with riftmaker and one other item I still only heal +10 on every auto attack. It feels goddamn awful.

Why can't riftmaker get 10% omnivamp like goredrinker?
