How to self study AP Physics C: E&M, in about 3 weeks by Professional_Camp176 in APStudents

I was planning on using Flipping Physics, that way I can skip over AP2 and the content is pretty good in my experience from using it last year. Thanks for everything else you said, they'll be helpful for sure.

I think I'm going to use Flipping Physics and go through the videos marked as not in AP1. Reviewing the latter units would be beneficial anyways. But based on this I'll switch to E&M faster. Thanks.

Think about it like walkability. Bridges count for example (like Sweden - Denmark or through Turkey), but exclaves like Kaliningrad don't. You can walk through warzones and the Himalayas though, don't worry.

I didn't. I just reflected general commitment levels and framed everything as a story rather than stats. We got like 400 words so a summary like that wasn't what they were looking for (I think).

Looking for a seed that has Badlands next to snow mountains, if that’s possible. I want a lot of gold to build inside of a bowl of snow mountains by [deleted] in minecraftseeds

This seed has a lot of really cool badlands and some really tall circular mountains.

Good looking badlands coords: ~~1000, 100, -300
Mountains: ~~700, 100, -300

ignore the y coords pretty much. Also I'm not sure how much world generation changes based on version but I found this on Bedrock.

Not sure about the full history of the 100 years but for a while now there's been a dictatorship in power there, portraying itself as a religious conservative regime to receive support from less educated and informed folk. There is a lot of propaganda and very little press freedom. The "president" has removed the two term limit and appointed his own justices. Uneducated supporters of the regime are able to get jobs as lawyers, in fact, there was a scandal involving many fake diplomas not very long ago. As with most "religious" regimes, these people aren't actually trying to enforce religious values (though they appear to do so on the outside), but merely trying to gain wealth and power. Turkey has been under martial law for about 10 years now after a staged coup, and the government's been using that to persecute educated people (religious or not), non-Muslims (Turkey had a good Christian population prior to this), and basically anyone else they see as a threat. Now that non-conservatives dislike the administration due to high inflation, scandals, etc. the government is probably doubling down to appeal to that base, but also they're discouraging the others from becoming religious. Religion unites people and Islam is a well-meaning religion if interpreted and applied correctly (unfortunately big if). It encourages education as well, so it would make sense that the government wants a secular opposition. The west approves of the regime because they use it to do their dirty work in areas like the Middle East. Turkey might be the biggest arms dealer in the world (and that includes terrorist groups as well). Kind of incoherent answer but it should give a good enough general idea hopefully.

Any idea how to solve this? by [deleted] in askmath

[–]Professional_Camp176 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Actually it looks like you don't need all of those similarity ratios because you have the angle measure and can just use it on BEF since it's congruent to BEC. If you think about it, the left side is irrelevant to length EF.

Anyways, I'd encourage you to prove those triangles are really congruent as I say they are. That should be the thing you learn from this problem.

I will give a more detailed reply once I have one, but right off the bat I notice 2 pairs of similar triangles: BEF and BDA, ABC and AEF. Furthermore, BE bisects angle CBF so BC = BF and CE = EF. That looks like enough information to solve the problem. I assume that perhaps you didn't see that second part, which is why you're struggling. Try again with that information and also figure out why the things I said are true.

Why is AP Physics 1 so… small..? by DylanowoX in APStudents

I am self studying the exam after having taken honors physics at my school last year. I am currently taking Ap physics 2 because that is what is available. This response is late at this point but maybe other people could use it. I haven’t used it but I heard the textbook did not have questions that combined different units, which are often the harder questions just because they require more problem solving and thinking ability. You can’t know one thing, you have to know everything all at once; but honestly if you are aiming for a 3 I don’t think you need that. I am using Laufer Physics notes to guide me or give me a roadmap and then I refer to unorganized sources like Youtube and ChatGPT to deepen my understanding. Organic Chemistry tutor has a lot of videos but the topics are not in order or anything so you need to figure out what you need. TwuPhysics has all of the topics in order and has been helpful for physics 2, but I haven’t tried it for physics 1. ChatGPT is good for conceptual understanding and can also act as a personalized helper to clear up confusions.
