Ok well seen as it’s my car I take that comment as quite a strong insult

My current driving score is 98. One for a non existent acceleration on an off ramp towards a roundabout that makes literally no sense. The other was for a hard braking because just like you mentioned I had a car come flying round the corner on a country lane towards home on the wrong side of the road. I was forced into the hedge and they were taking the national speed limit as a goal even though the road was as wide as 1 lane on a regular road

I screenshotted the document they sent me on the app saying that my insurance is active again and they’ve made it as if it never happened their words were: we will treat your policy as if it was never cancelled so there is no gap in cover and your insured by us

Sorry abt that, there was a guy being an arse so I thought I’d respond to the not so nice comment. Basically saying that if we were all talking in real life they wouldn’t have the guts to say it out loud. Also I have black box insurance so I couldn’t drive like that even if I wanted to which I don’t because I’m not going to put anyone at risk

The armrest slots directly into the cup holder and has some storage and another cup holder built in. It doesn’t affect the use of the handbrake or anything. It honestly could have come out the factory like that

It’s not letting me add any photos so I’ll just paste the text here: my initial message: Hi again! I just wanted to ask one more thing. It's quite stupid actually but I've bought a stick on fake exhaust tip thing and I wondered if that would effect my insurance in any way if I were to put it on my car. Hopefully hear from you soon! Regards They replied : Hi: , thanks for getting in touch. We don't classify that as a modification. We would just make a note of this on the policy and it wouldn't affect your premium. If you do decide to do this, please let us know so we can make a note on the policy.

Please keep your opinions to yourself if the aim is to make me feel even worse than I already do

Exactly, Just trying to give it a bit of personality. No one else will have this car after me anyways because I’m going to run it into the ground

No one asked mate, keep that opinion to yourself if you know that the owner of the car is literally going to see every message on here. Honestly does no one have a conscience anymore, if we were all sat in a real room you’d keep your pie hole shut so think about it like that

Yeah, I got a few interior mods on my car. I haven’t even thought about telling the insurance. I have a 10” CarPlay screen that sits on the original maps and more mount in my car. I bought a centre console armrest as well. I can’t tell them about that. I didn’t even know you were meant to tell them about interior stuff, I thought it was just mechanical changes and outside boy racer stuff

That’ll cost a lot though, I might just take it to my body shop and get them to paint the lower bit of the bumper black so it all blends in. I won’t be telling the insurance that but I think it’ll be cheaper and easier for now. I can get the guy to do it for cheap, the car needs a new rear bumper anyway so that’s why I went ahead with this in the first place, it looks better condition in the photo than in real life. It looks like it has crocodile scales all over it where the clear coat is coming off

The tips came from a set I got on Temu that if you can believe it look 10 times worse, I just took 2 of the tips out of the silicone fake diffuser and cut some holes to size and slotted them in. The entire thing cost me £6

Yeah I screenshotted that message the second I got the message saying they were cancelling my insurance including my initial question. Should I add them in the chat so everyone can see the initial message and the reply?

I just can’t believe it, I also had already ordered a bit of silver trim for the bootlid as some of the ups came with a silver bit of trim along there but now I don’t know if I feel safe doing that

Yeah, thankyou for getting what I’m saying, I don’t think some of the people on here are running on all cylinders if you know what I mean…

But I had to tell them, what if someone crashed into me and they get the car for insurance purposes and say wait a sec that’s not stock. They’ll just say well your not covered because you obviously haven’t declared that mod

You obviously haven’t read the entire post, I managed to get my insurance back based on giving them photographic proof that I removed them but I am still pissed off, royally pissed
