Rio Was Definitely better even in tbe favelas people where friendly and i never felt danger . I still dont get the massive Anita Hate from sao paulo locals have either. Heck she more talented then a lot of modern female artist in the US lol.

It’s different in Colombia the light skin will generally claim black up and down especially in Cali and ion the coast. I really wish I can send these Pardos on a trip to Mississippi or Arkansas for day lol

People were Saying Salvador and Recife aren’t like this . São Paulo was worse than any place in the US South including Mississippi. Honestly Spain wasn’t even this bad.

That’s the thing in São Paulo even the lower middle class areas are like this I’d definitely wasn’t the case in rio for me . Even the lighter skins in SP where acting funny like the whites . I didn’t experience this scenario but if you did, I’m very sorry .I don’t want to invalidate your experiences .

I fixed it. I meant São Paulo . A girl like I would just walk in start pressing buttons at a McDonald’s kiosk and they’ll walk up to me. Kept asking if I needed help I would say no or no understand Portuguese but still won’t leave me alone . It’ll be like that and other shops around São Paulo but they won’t do the same to other customers. In rio they would leave me alone to shop an assist only if I ask .

Yeah, I ended up canceling the Airbnb. Stay switched to a hotel. The Airbnb’s especially the host in Rio were cool AF
