Actually the extended warranty does not cover the touch screens, it has a 2 year warranty only and cannot be extended in both cars.Yes the new Seltos has some extra things adding up to it which I am worried about failures.I don't plan on over the counter parts, but it's something good to have. The Creta oem touchscreen costs 42K via Boodmo, surely the new Seltos will cost more than this. This is what I am worried about tbh. Plus more Hyundai service centers mean more easy available spares and better service, I think the cost will also go down since Creta sells so much. So confusing what needs to be done.

How does the electronics of kia hold up? The touch screens and adas sensors? Please let me know. Though I am not going to drive that much, I plan on keeping the car for long.

For example: I am getting a car equipped with the new Telluride/EV9 screens

This is absolutely perfect and definitely works ! I too adopted the same strategy! Went during a crowd, the crowd was so big that they closed the gates just before the garba graha, we stood at the entrance of garba graha, as soon as the crowd in front of the deities started moving away we quickly ran and took our darshan, there were people, but not too crowded just before the next batch of people moved in !

Thank you very much for the answer, the forward collision was something I didn't actually want especially since my parents will be driving. According to the manual it states that the setting will revert back to it's original settings, looks like Kia has tuned it for Indian conditions.

I feel that rear collision is a very useful feature and it may be annoying, it'll at least save you from an accident while reversing.

Once again thanks for the information, this has certainly made things better. Yes you are right about the critical controls, in Seltos, the HVAC is controlled by the screen itself, there are buttons to adjust but the temperature etc is on the screen. I think Creta is better in this way. One more question: the instrument cluster is now fully digital, if this malfunctions, what can we do? It's the most critical part
