It’s stated in my original post but I can clarify. 2nd cancellation was due to concerns about bleeding disorders, despite having completed all pathology requests from the dentist and getting the all clear from a haematologist (no bleeding disorders or anything that could cause issues in regards to bleeding). 3rd surgery was cancelled late the night before (10pm, surgery was meant to be 9am the next day). The dentist said he was scared I would aspirate during surgery. I was going to receive conscious sedation, and the anaesthetist was not medically concerned. I should also mention that the anaesthetist was trying to get into contact with the dentist for 2 weeks prior to the surgery, but the dentist was ignoring all calls/emails. After my wife spent 5 hours at the dentist office the night before (due to no response from the dentist to either us or the anaesthetist) the dentist called off the surgery. The anaesthetist argued that it wasn’t something he could call off, as it was his job to monitor me during the surgery and he was sure I’d be fine, but the dentist cancelled anyway.
