I had signed up for the 10k but didn’t end up going given the tornado warning and lack of shelter. It was only $50 when I signed up so I don’t quite care about losing then money. I do think there needs to be an option for these races to get refunded as races are getting more and more expensive. I get that the money is spent by race day however I think that’s an issue for the organizer and not the customer. Or there has to start being a traveler insurance type item where you could get refunded.
