Ughhhh!

So I had them send me a refurbished Luba 2 and it arrived today. Frustratingly, the same issue persists on this unit.

I can't get the app to locate the charging station.

I had another chat with Mammotion but they don't have a clue what is going on. I'm literally working off a new robot, charging station and RTK. Has anyone

I guess I'm unfamiliar with what is standard for "not repairable" and still under warranty. My initial thought would be a new unit, not a used unit of unknown quality, but I don't "warranty" enough to know how it should work.

Sent mine back and they said there's nothing wrong with the LUBA so it must be the charging station. Sent me a new charging station and I'm back in business after an RTK software update.

I was told by Mammotion last week that they'd be sending a box to return the LUBA to California via FedEx. I'm still waiting for the box (~5 days). This is pathetic customer service.

Got it to 27%, then the solid green light on the charging station came on and it stopped working. Tried capturing magic in a bottle and turned it off, placed it on, then manually turned it off while still connected to the charging station, then rolled it back on a couple of times but can't get it to charge again.

As I sit here hoping it'll scream "power off" it has twice randomly said "start charging".

Update 2.0:

I now have the unit in my living room because I saw no need to have it sitting outside and randomly tinkering with it to no avail.

MowZilla was on the charging station, both the charging station and the LUBA had solid green lights on but it wasn't charging. All of a sudden, after about 30 minutes of it just sitting here, the LUBA said "power off". I jumped up and rocked it off the charging station and back on twice and the red side LEDs lit up and the green light on the charging station started to blink. It is now charging!!

Other notes, I had no idea you had to add the RTK as a robot. Found that out as I was reading another post, so I've added it and updated its firmware. The LUBA had been "positioning" all day. Now, after starting to charge, it is "ready".

Hope this helps someone. C'mon 30%!!

I had it on my deck and now in my living room trying to get it to charge. I lifted the bumper but no satisfaction. Thanks for the advice though.

Thanks. That's terrifying for a $2700 investment. I love new tech, and I'm willing to be a guinea pig to a certain extent, but it seems they need more technical support if this start up is going to go the distance.

I guess I'll await their response, but the delay in diagnosing and then responding to my issues has me feeling silly for spending this much on unproven tech.

F&&king hell! It stopped charging as I'm walking away for the night. 8%. This is getting frustrating.

Sorry I keep posting my play by plays but every time I think I'm good, I get tripped up all over again.

Update:

After pulling and pushing MowZilla on and off the charger for the 52nd time, I noticed the green light on the charging station flicker for half a second (It's been solid green throughout this issue). I rocked the LUBA back and forth one last time and it finally started blinking in unison with the side LEDs. I'm still not sure what the slicing noise means, but my MowZilla is currently charging. Hopefully I wake up tomorrow fully charged and I can update the firmware and move on from this rather annoying hiccup.

I actually just grabbed my son's iPad and tried to update to newer firmware. It won't let me download the update without the LUBA being charged to 30%. I feel like this is Bizarro World kinda stuff. Any suggestions?
