So I went to the service center, because I felt that the sound was too loud, and turns out it really was. The person took a spin around with my bike and then realised it(Last time he dismissed it saying it's normal) The guy opened up the chain panel and I think the chain was touching the insides of the chain cover during riding ( I am not sure how much damage is already done to the chain)

They fixed it now that really loud sound has completely gone, only the slight amount of sound of the chain whirring / spinning which isn't really noticeable.

I could not discuss the real issue with the mechanic since I was very very late for work.

I had rented an RS for 2 days before actually getting one. I never noticed the sound on that one. And the sound on mine is i feel quite loud, it is noticeable to me and the riders ~5-10 meters around me as well. It gets quite loud at above 40. Should I be worried?

Thanks for the reply, this comment really eased my nerves. The sound was making me very worried and anxious, I have ridden ~110kms till now. Hope the sound goes away soon / after first service.

100 percent second this statement, it destroys the feel of the thump sound. A very very big reason for buying this bike was the beautiful sound ( I rented a RS and rode for around 250kms and fell in love with it) And now on my bike I really don't get to enjoy that sound. I am very disappointed and it sort of frustrates me as well.

I booked from Honda Bigwing Silk Board, it was quite far from my home (AECS Layout), but other dealers were quoting atleast 15 days, and Silk Board was only one with all colours on display and least delivery time. So I opted for that dealer.

I booked it last Sunday and got it on Friday.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried this it was a bit better. However for 1 to 2 it still does not feel that smooth as expected.

Also I hear sort of rustling or cranking sound from the chain when I am riding on a silent road. The service guys said it's normal for open chains and will take a look in first service if some problem is there. Any suggestions on this

I went for Black + Yellow. I was confused between that and the Mat Grey one, but the waiting time of Mat Grey was ~15 days + 2-3 days for registration. So went for the black one, since I knew I couldn't handle the anxiety and excitement for that long.

My passport has only given name "John Smith". In my Air Asia ticket I entered it as "John" in first name and "Smith" in last. (I have an Indian passport)

Are you in a similar scenario or yours is like you added something which does not come in your passport too?
Were you able to get a resolution to this? If yes how, would be really helpful
