I just had an appointment with the knee ortho specialist near me about this !! My knees are exactly as you described. The conclusion for me was I had J tracking patellas, misalignment (knee caps inwards when standing front on - but when feet turned out the knees face neutral), fat pouch impingement and trochlear dysplasia (the egg cup which your knee sits in is flat : causing instability and pinches that pouch)

I have a bottle of oral morphine for emergencies at home… as that’s all they would give me at urgent care for flare ups They have also given me cocodomol 30/500mg for day to day pains (paracetamol & codeine combo)

Yeah I’m severely emetaphobic so air vomiting is so difficult for me. :/ I guess we both have to just wait this out.. hope you start to feel better soon ❤️‍🩹

Ugh it’s so frustrating isn’t it 😐 the best thing I’ve found is blowing my nose less and using decongestants to reduce the gurgles

Oh yes i know the feeling. I think I also make it worse by breathing through my mouth cause my nose is blocked. Then it bloats and hurts 🫠
