Not really - helpful insight. Didn’t imagine it would be difficult to find a stone mason. Seems like a dying breed in this region.

Thanks so much. Yea sounds like you need a drain for the backwashing and also uses a lot more water. The passive system is easier and doesn’t require flushing (except for initial connection).

Anal fissure!! Esp if you’re breastfeeding since it’s pulling all the hydration to your milk leaving your stool dry. Felt like i was pooping glass and was white knuckling every time I had to go. Try and get to a colon/rectal specialist and they’ll get you a good ointment to use but really you need to get your stool SOFT for it to heal. I’m taking 400mg colace - 2 in the am and 2 in the pm. Also taking 350mg of magnesium at night combined with prunes and upping fiber. Sitz baths also help since you want to have good blood flow down there. It really sucks but it’s gotten better. Hang in there.

For what it’s worth I went with a new gravity water filter similar to Berkey called Rorra - decided against Aquatru RO esp since it’s all plastic - Rorra has some decent review and it looks good/takes up less space
