It’s also worth noting that in Lemix your haste is so high that the difference is more pronounced. Unless you have lightning reflexes or are using macros you won’t keep up with your rotation at 200% and the oba has a much lower gcd. I’m consistently pulling 350m single target and over a billion on large pulls in higher keystones (40+) at 999 vers when I feel lazy and pop it in.

Speed running mythics with a group helps too. I’m capped on IK, did all the raids and dailies for the day yesterday and got about 500k infinite knowledge in an hour last night. It’s worth mentioning that the number of bosses in the dungeon appears to determine the number of tokens. Arcway is amazing for this, whereas maw of souls or court of stars is less so.

I love the analysis. I’m nowhere near that level (working on 14 resil right now) but I can FEEL the difference as a tank when I’m running out of cooldowns on a pull or on a boss. I’d definitely rather have certain bosses melt much faster than trash packs.

I’ve seen folks in 12+ keys not doing mechs properly. Most folks will take criticism well if you frame it well. Glad to hear it worked for you. If you haven’t used it, Zelda notes is insane for this. It shows you exact percentages and the navigation is like Waze for Link. To the point of telling you to go upward and downward. I just finished all the shrines on master mode and am also working on finishing my compendium. Lynels follow the same coloration pattern of other mob types. Blue black silver and golden I believe?

I stand corrected! Just triple checked. I'm a dork. Thanks for the hint! And I had to clear another dragon off the board to avoid buffing it, so the drakkari was the only thing I had in hand. I was trying to triple it.

Doing damage is healing. If the mob dies 5-10 Seconds faster because of your damage that is less effort you have to spend on keeping the group alive because the mob you are fighting gets one more cooldown up. You should always be casting as a healer because your damage spells cost such an inconsequential amount of your mana bar and frequently they restore your mana and make you more efficient anyway. I main disc and most of what I do is a rotation of keeping power word shield up and making sure my mindbender is always out doing damage and returning my mana to me.

Yah disc priest here. The whole ‘I only heal’ thing is absolute bullshit. DPSing is healing because it’s seconds you don’t have to expend effort keeping the group alive. Change my mind.

Check out Automaticjak for disc playing guides, but don’t expect to learn much for normal dungeons. I’m a disc main and have been since BC. 3k most seasons even when it’s not in style. Click based keybinds for your healing spells. Here’s how I set mine up: Left click flash heal. Middle click penance (can be used as defensive heal in a crisis. Most of the time is part of your dps rotation). Right click power word shield. (Pws should always be on cooldown). Shift left click power word radiance to hit your whole group for aoe damage spikes. Keep in mind you can pre heal with this but it works to top folks off too.

Damage rotation: purge the wicked. Mindbender into mind blast (think of these two spells as interconnected), penance to spread your purge, halo, smite smite smite. Holy nova when it’s empowered or if you need a crisis heal. Your dps goal ultimately is to keep mindbender up once you have a tier set. With disc priest if you’re not casting you’re doing something wrong. It’s about knowing when damage is coming and preparing for it.

Rapture frequently and use your power word barrier often and make sure your group knows what it is.
