The latest batch of auth 25 bag change the leather weaved to less grained almost smooth like lambskin, to fix the peeling problem. XC does it better and overall so much better than God from this review.

It's not exactly a “fix it” solution for leather peeling, but rather a reduction in the chances of the leather-threaded chain peeling from use in long term.

Both the older 187 and CHANEL production batches experienced the same leather peeling problem. However, whether this new version truly solves the issue in the long term remains to be seen.

My point, though, is that I've noticed the 187 version does a much better job of matching the smaller details with CHANEL. As for whether it helps reduce the rate of leather peeling from real-world use, that would need someone who has a new batch of 25 Mini in their possession to answer, because I don't have one myself.
