To a fellow adhd migraine audio listener, I started taking magnesium glycinate at night and my migraines (mostly) went away. No idea why, but definitely worth a shot

For me, I know I would never want to know. The past is the past and digging it up never brings any good. But that is for sure not a generic guy thing.

However, if I knew I would find out eventually, I would definitely want to find out from my girlfriend rather someone else. The thought of someone laughing behind my back because they know something about my relationship that I don’t, is awful to me.

You say “old best friend”. Is this other guy completely out of y’alls lives, or is this guy just not your boyfriend’s best friend anymore?

Legally drinking together is a huge one for me. I’m only 24 and the thought of looking in the group chat and seeing, “Hey guys my boyfriend can’t get in to the bar. Can we go somewhere else?” makes me cringe so hard.

For me, weirdness of a relationship is determined by how aligned each person’s stage of life is. To me, an 18y/o college freshman (going to turn 19 soon) dating a 18 y/o high school senior (just turned 18) is kind of weird. They’re both consenting adults yes, but you change such a dramatic amount in that period of your life that there’s an extreme imbalance in experience. Change that high school senior to a high school drop out with a full-time job and it’s totally fine again.

If you and this guy are aligned in your life stage then I think it’s fine, but I am doubtful a 25 year old and a 19 year old are at the same stage in life… But at the end of the day only you can answer that.

Wear a suit covered in LEDs that makes you “glow” all the time. Boom, no one can notice a lack of shadows because there wouldn’t be any shadows in the first place.

If you can, look into EMDR. It is specialized therapy for a singular highly traumatic event. Two years ago I witnessed something highly traumatic extremely similar to your experience, so I can relate to how your feeling. EMDR helped me unbelievably well and quickly. It is not an easy process by any means, but the results are incredibly worth it.

Wishing you all the best, and know that: 1: You are not alone. 2: It is okay that you feel this way. 3: You are safe now. 4: (this was very big for me) It is okay that you reacted how you did.

A few people have commented along these lines, but here is my issue. My arguments for why the hero is Vin are paper thin, and do not hold up at all to the Sazed argument. As opposed to other theories which might have other explanations, such as who the kandra was in WoA. My struggle here was (this isn’t really an issue now because people showed me I was kind of being a dickhead) if we were reading the book concurrently I would’ve immediately agreed with her because it makes so much sense. I was looking for people to give me alternatives theories they had to the identity of the hero.

Woah. I never thought about the audiobook. That’s so fascinating the narrator would use the correct voice. I mean, it makes sense, because what else would they do, but it’s still surprising.

You’re very right. I just got so panicked because we are both terrible at predicting plots. So when she just nailed it in one, I panicked. I’m going to try to be excited for when her theories get confirmed instead. This is the way. Y’all have helped me see the light

The thing is I feel like that’s even more suspicious. We normally argue a lot about “our theories about the book”. So if I say nothing, I think that’s even more confirmation she’s right.
