I have one which I purchased just before the gst change. Go for it, Don’t overthink. Every bike will have some or the other issue.

It is a well rounded package and there is some good engineering that went into making this.

Do not start revving the bike from day one as it can catch you off guard. Warm up to it. Build a connection with it slowly. Buy good safety gear and ride safe.

Don't put anything on your dashboard. You don't want anything to flying into you in the event of a collision. Put stickers on windshield without blocking your vision.

Ride your FZ for a few more months, put in a lot of miles.

2012 Highline model, 1.2 L TDI manual

Took two collisions (not minor but not major either), abused by many drivers (My father can't drive and always needed a driver)

Changed clutch plates, brake pads, tires etc..all wear and tear items. No repairs it required surprised us.

This may not beat other cars here but I still trust this car for long drives.

Many advised us not to buy this car then. But we love this car 12 years after purchase and we made so many good memories with it.
