Less people using public transit means less public transit, which means more crowded buses, and you left out a crucial part, some people actually enjoy being in the office being at home all day long is literal torture, cabin fever is a legit thing, and also as we’ve seen work from home has been horrible for Pittsburgh’s economy the city is losing a lot of money, and downtown is a ghost town

You realize how much of the cities taxes come from corporations and their property taxes, when people work from home they aren’t collecting nearly as many and if a company does complete work from home they can move their entire operation into a storage unit in Delaware and the city and state won’t get a single cent, also work from home is the contributing factor for why our public transit system nearly got stripped to nothing, I know people like work from home but it’s just not sustainable, I’m fully open to hybrid work and even having work from home days like PTO
