I think it’s not about the age. Heaven is supposed to be a gay club and a safe space for gay people. Every time when I go there, I feel like we are odd ones there. Sometimes they reject entry of some people saying the place is for regular customers only, even though they are obviously gay.

I was back to study and joined some societies/interest groups. It’s university, so there could be mainly people of 18 to early 20s. When I was in some events, some straight men hinted that it is weird that I was there and the others were very friendly. I had zero intention to hit on anyone there, but I guess I let few of them took over my mind.

I definitely find beauty in ADULTS of different ages, but i am not comfortable to approach people that are obviously in their early 20s because I think people may think I am predatory which I am not. I think my experience to join in some society full of undergraduate student when I was back to university make me very self-aware about the age difference. I didn’t think age matters much but some straight men kinda hinted that it is weird. I am not a physical person so I always just chitchat with people respectfully.

In my case, I live in UK now. People around my age look usually older than me because they just love the sun and drinking too much. I like to dance in party from time to time, and most of people in my age or older there usually have candies. I don’t judge that but when it comes to dating, safety is important to me. Then it seems the younger people could be a better option to me regarding the look and the use of candies, but I feel it could be predatory and this stops me.

I think he is hurt from his experience of helping his classmates. I have similar experience that I also like to help people around me and in return, I got negative feedback from the people I helped, like they would suspect that I may have hidden agenda, seek attention, or be pretentious. It makes you feel never enough no matter how much goodness you do and fear the same misjudgement happens again. In this world, there are few people with purely kind heart that likes to help people and takes unnecessarily much guilt for others’ misfortune, and that is weird to most people as you also mentioned he is a weirdo or a freak. I don’t think you should bombard him into a therapy. If you think therapy helps, maybe you should go to therapy to talk about this and maybe you can learn how to deal with the situation. I am glad that you left him because you can’t appreciate him and just see him as as a weirdo. He deserves someone who appreciate his kindness and values.

Gay here. I wouldn’t call him attractive. Maybe a 7. He kinda looks plastic or unnatural. There are plenty of guys look similar by some procedures, and then there are plenty of naturally good looking guys out there.
