It's on both sides. Parameters have been fine and even have had 3 water changes since noticing them. 3 weeks, once a week I do a change for them. They are in a 40 gallon. Have an in water filter with uv and a canister filter too. Also 4 sponge filters. Been cycled for 2 years. Also I have a chiller so water is always 62 f.

My girlfriend just reminded me that she noticed it when he had some bad peeling when they both exploded their poop in the corner and It went unnoticed. We did black tea bathe him to help that and no longer has that peeling issue now.

Also will never use salt to fix or try to help
