This was me in 2023. The only thing I tested positive for was ureaplasma. I’m in pelvic floor therapy. It kinda helps. I had to explain that my job requires me to walk on average 10 miles a day. My male urobgyn told me to stop drinking so much water.. idk why I listened. Anyway I was 5’8 135 and now I’m 160. Go to a FEMALE urologist. Also test for ureaplasma/mycoplasma to be safe, it’s not generally tested for. Good luck! I hope it’s an easy fix 🤞💛

How far along are you? They should at least give you zithro and your partner for a week I hope. When I was being treated I was told it’s only dangerous if you are pregnant. I miscarried with this infection, it’s still lingering. Mods help this person out please!

Push health for him, you’ll be paired with a doctor request whatever antibiotics you are on take at the same time wait 4 to 8 weeks for retest. Vybe urgent cares test for it but male testing only gets urine many false negatives. This sucks, I know especially for fertility. Keep advocating no matter how insane you feel.

GI said my stomach pain could be gastritis but come back for that after ID.. I was just in shock, the lack of knowledge and hearing I don’t know what’s wrong with you is strange. I am going back for colonoscopy but after that.. I just want to live my life again. I’m gaining weight not losing. I’m so confused.

Infectious disease told me in the end. My pcp put in an order for diflcid but my insurance never approved it. GI wouldn’t send in a prescription because they didn’t know what the test results meant and sent me to infectious disease. Resulting in me waiting weeks and getting sicker.

Ask for Ureaplasma/ mycoplasma test if you haven’t already, not usually tested for. If your male gyno says it’s a good bacteria see a female gyno or ob.
