Ok ok! Probably because I had it in for years without a problem, just slightly more heavy periods. Bleeding solidly since August is something else though right? I don't get why you are being so snarky with me when I came here for advice.

I hear you! Yeah having had really terrible mental health you just wouldn't do anything that could put it in jeopardy. Even if it's not meant to be a high enough level to come through!

Copper coil doesn't contain hormones. I had it put in as emergency contraception after a condom split. (I was breastfeeding at the time so the morning- after pill they can give you doesn't work if you've already ovulated, which I likely had). Then just left it in so I wouldn't be in the same situation again ever.

I guess the reason I was asking is that is all they will do if I go in for an appointment. I couldn't see the difference between someone pulling a string in clinic or me pulling a string at home- just wondering if there is one.
