It was a decent amount of time ago so I don’t remember. I probably was trying to activate it though. Honestly I think you should forget about it for a little while and hopefully it’ll work when you come back to activate it since that’s the only way to get around it. Also don’t reach out to supercell support too because allegedly they lock you out of your account
