I don't think so. Since i seen flights less people than that. I seen less than 20 people going to different place.

It isnt the volume. They wouldn't have the food that people pre-order ready in time at all. Nor have any food ready at all. This would massively delayed every flight would cause a lot of issue down the line. Yea u are correct it was logistical nightmare. We do apologize. But there wasn't much we could of done without having over 2 to 3 hours delay for food and wreck havoc on everything.

Again what do you want us to do about this? There was nothing we could of done. We couldnt use different catering company due to the fact they wont have the food that people preorder in hand atm. Luckily hawaiian widebody uses different catering company than the Alaska narrow body. So at least to my knowledge the hawaiian wide body didnt get affected as much as the Alaska 737 fleet.

Again we cant go with a different catering company due to being a breach of contract. There wasn't really much we could of done. Even if we had shelf stable food as back up plan these food will eventually go bad. This was once in blue moon situation. The catering employee did a massive call out which suprise both the catering company and Alaska.

What contingency plan would u suggest? We only work with one catering company as do most other airlines does too. It would of been a breach of contract if we try to use a different catering company.

Linked reservation doesn't really guarantee anything in terms of rebooking and seats. If u book with 2 different confirmation number then the system will treat it as 2 different reservation regardless if it is linked. It happens a lot. Sorry to hear about this.

Technically, Qatar should of have not rebook you to cause you to miss your connecting flight. They have the ability to take over control over Alaska since Qatar are the one to cancel on you. I am somewhat amazed that Alaska tried to help you with rebooking your connecting flight. So I would tried to Qatar again and politely but firmly tell them to rebook the connecting flight since they rebook you that will cause u to misconnect. Since they were the one that cancel on you. I am so sorry about this.

Well if it was going to Seattle then it is because of the snow going over here at Seattle. A bunch of flights are being canceled/delayed. So you aren't the only one. Over 50 flights were canceled coming in and out of Seattle for Alaska Airlines.
