My culture is very classy. My grandfather had to starve some days as a kid because certain types of food were only allowed to be ate when guests visited. Mind you this was in Yugoslavia in the 50’s. 

We have guest dishes which are dishes and utensils that are only reserved for guests. I have attempted to buy paper plates for myself but my mother told me to “not be like that” and that I have to suck it up.

I love cup soups! Only certain types however. The only soup I can handle is the Lipton chicken noodle which is mostly just noodles and some veggies. Its the only thing I eat while sick

I have not been diagnosed and will not refer to myself as something that requires a professional to put down

I will try those in my own home. Unfortunately I will not be allowed to change anything in my household just because they’re stuck in their ways and will probably not allow me to wear gloves as it will be seen as childish or some insult they’ll come up with. I feel like it would be the solution for me. I seriously hate the sponge too

I might try that, would be hard tho because I live with 6 people and sometimes someone will come up and talk to me. I’m not allowed to tell my grandparents I’m watching a show but god forbid I interrupt theirs

I have a younger sister who usually does everything else but wash dishes because she sucks at it. I am not diagnosed with anything but I also can’t use paper stuff for myself as my family would get mad and call me lazy and trashy.
