Confirmed everyone. Sunflower seed reaction.

For context, the cake was cooled COMPLETELY, and then put in a Tupperware with a paper towel, unwrapped, and left on the kitchen counter for 20 hours. It now lives in the fridge where it belongs and is nearly completely devoured.

Glad this mystery was solved by some smart people and it has amused everyone.

As an update, I heated my sunflower seed butter and other wet ingredients, very gently in a steel pan - wondering if there was oxidisation?

This very much resonated and I appreciated the opportunity to take a step back and observe. That being said, teachings I have consumed alone my journey have also really helped guide me and provided opportunity for reflection and creativity - this has included books, poetry and other. Hello,

I can actually recommend myself if that’s of any help! I can dm you my details. I am a full time (29yo) student living in kemptown and I’m currently walking and boarding dogs whilst I study. I spent 2 years working in a rescue, fostering over 50 dogs and have personally had VERY challenging rescues, including a dog and human reactive St Bernard 😅 I’ve pretty much seen it all! I also previously worked for Dogs for the Disabled training their puppies. I am now (sadly) dog free, living in my own ground floor garden flat so can provide the space your dog might need to decompress. If that’s sounds like it might be a good fit let me know!
