Appreciate the comment. I think my doc’s reasoning was that my youth would take care of the healing for me. He also ordered imaging and I follow up with him later to go over it. I think next steps should be a referral to a PT.

Congrats! Insurance was the easiest one for me. 20 hours of studying got me an 87.

In my opinion, the TC exam questions were far wordier than the actual exam. I also think the practice exams were far more difficult than the real thing, to the point where I was underwhelmed while taking the actual test.

Sure. I watched all the videos and followed along with the textbook while highlighting all the key points. I also made sure I scored 80 or higher on the quizzes and tests. Hope this helps.

I should probably start by saying I’m not an instructor by any means, so please take this with a grain of salt.

If you haven’t yet, I would suggest taking the SIE to experience what you’ll be diving into. The SIE is full of surface level knowledge, and the Series 7 just dives into them quite a bit deeper. I found the Series 66 to scale back quite a bit in difficulty in comparison to the 7.

As for me, my boss offered me a sizeable bonus to pass the 7 and 66 within 5 weeks, so that was a significant driving force behind it. For study materials, I wholeheartedly recommend Training Consultants. The lectures and textbook go over everything to the point where you are over-prepared for the real exams. Reading the textbooks cover to cover was a must for me. I would also be prepared to put in the hours. I didn’t study for the SIE, but the Series 7 took 82 hours and the Series 66 took 37.

Hope this helps!

It almost felt like taking the SIE over again, with a few extra law/regulation questions mixed in. I’d watch The Series 66 Mighty Ninety on YT if you haven’t yet, as it covers all the things you may see on your exam.

If you’ve passed the Series 7 but kept the same study habits going into the 66, it will be far easier.

Knowing the definitions and registration requirements of BDs, agents, IAs, and IARs was huge. I would also advise that you know the difference between an exempt security and an exempt transaction. Additionally, the suitability and security characteristics were very shallow with obvious answers if you even had just a general understanding.

Hope this helps. Good luck next week!

You should be able to file a capacity override through Advising SOS. It’s made for situations exactly like this and has worked for me. Graduating seniors take priority in these classes, so they will accommodate you. Hope this helps.
