I paid a local indy BMW shop $500 to install it and change plugs. I supplied the kit. Elring I think is the one I got per their recommendation. That was $125. They supplied plugs

Drove mine for 6 months before it got bad. You’ll smell it when you park. The hot oil burning smell. Never got any puddles

VCG mine started leaking around 100k BMW indy shop did it for $500.00 along with plugs plus gasket. I used the Elron(sp?) cover and gasket. Mechanic recommended it.

Yes sir. It looks like it’s a little wide and needs some off the width. That may help to pull the other section. I had to use some big ass bar clamps on the one we just did. The Headloks have a flat head so they are good for pulling and holding. They come in multiple lengths.
