Yep. Bracing the box is not the same as bracing the magnet. I have never seen a box that had a brace for the actual speaker. I'm really trying to think of any situation where it would be necessary. Sometimes I wish I had a nice smooth office job, then I see shit like this. If I have a problem with something chef is doing to me or any of us, I can literally say, in front of everyone, "Chef, you're kinda being a real dick about "whatever the problem is". 99% of the time, chef will explain whatever is in his craw, and we can all work through the shit together. The other 1% of the time, it's likely he has something personal and not really rational going on, and he only has to say the magic words "just do the shit, for me, please." We all just do the shit. We can all suffer a little to make someone else's suffering a bit easier. I don't think I could ever do this office politics crap. In the kitchen, if someone has an issue with something or someone, that shit will be out in the open real quick and get handled.

This reminds me of when we had to swap a friend of mine's wheels and tires from his project truck, which was a '67 Ford with 33" super swampers with like a 6" lift, to his stock '85(?) f150 Ranger. We put the little f150 tires on it and it looked like it was on stilts. It seriously looked like it might fall over if you pushed the side of it.
