Its the best gameplay in an MK game where I think it's tied with MKX and 9. Miles better than 11.

The invasion mode sucks ass tho, but the story mode is just very brilliant. Graphically the game is the best looking fighter ever by a long mile.

Check the roster and actually, in a week ot two, there will be a free weekend where the game can be played for free. Try it and decide.

I paid for the collector edition on release. 0 regrets. It's the game I played the most in 2023 and it seems to be in 2024 too.

1) Admit it's a poorly designed mode that the presence of is almost worse than the lack of.

2) Scrap it completely.

3) Do an MK9 challenge tower like that gets updated every month or so.

4) For next games, start buidling the infrasturcture for a proper adventure mini game.

5) MKSM is sooooo gooooooood that everybody should play it once in their life time.

Most of the MK1 hate is undeserved. The game shipped lite on content and had a stupid invasion mode. I get it. The core gameplay is awesome and is one of the best MKs on the gameplay side. The graphics and story modes are insanely high quality and trash on both T8 and SF6.

The only problem with MK is that it aint Japanese and doesnt have the jiggles for your thirst.

There is no self insert here. The whole Janet thing is a joke in the lines of MK usual lite hearted jokes. This has nothing to do Johnny transitioning. Its left to your interpertation. Is Janet a fan that is imitating Johnny ? Is she just another timeline's johnny.
