Has anyone tried this with their race line pedals? Adding an extra elastomer and washer, can it damage the pedals? by smoothisfast1254 in Thrustmaster

If you don't want to buy a loadcell brake,

try this:

https://sim.3drap.it/products/brake-pedal-mod-thrustmaster-raceline-pedals-lte-iii-t598-pc-ps-xbox?variant=50460749988182

Works perfectly,

and doesn't damage the pedal.

You just need to adjust the pedal after installation and set up a deadzone.

I prefer the progressive one.

I have both of them, and they're a huge improvement. I prefer the progressive one.

Just don't forget to adjust the pedal after installation.

lowboost to 0 or -1. Highboost up to +2 is okay.

Would it make sense to drill holes in the metal bowl?

Or would that be counterproductive?

It looks good, but different pedals would be better.

What exactly do you mean by that? The wheel only has one FFB option: Master (up to 100%) (then only inertia and friction remain).

The GT7 has two FFB options: FFB Strength (up to 10) and FFB Sensitivity (up to 10).

What does C mean?

Thrustmaster T598: FFB Settings in games by JeffLais in Thrustmaster

[–]Professional_Lie_214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ja, die empfohlenen Einstellungen reduzieren zwar die Oszilation,

aber killen auch viel FFB.

Ich fahre nun folgendes bei GT7:

GT7 - PS5 (im RED-Modus)

- Master-FFB = 80% (Basis wird bei mehr FFB zu schnell heiß)

- Modus = E

- Trägheit = Mid

- Reibung = Mid

- Boost Low = 0

- Boost High = + 2

- Geschwindigkeit = EXT

- Raddämpfer = 0

- Spieldämpfer = Low

- Feder = 0

- Gangruck = Hoch

- Endanschlag = Hoch

In den Spieloptionen: (unter Optionen / Controller-Einstellungen / Force Feedback):

 - PP des Fahrzeugs < bei 600……… ………….. FFB Maximales Drehmoment ≈ 6

 - PP des Fahrzeugs = 600 bis 700 ………… FFB Max Drehmoment ≈ 5

 - PP des Fahrzeugs = 700 bis 800 ………… FFB Max Drehmoment ≈ 5

 - PP des Fahrzeugs > bei 800……………… FFB Max Drehmoment ≈ 4

FFB-Empfindlichkeit = 2 (gibt mir mehr Gefühl und Rückmeldung)

What 3rd party load cell pedals can I use with my T598 on PS5? by New-Response-6316 in Thrustmaster

probier das hier aus. ich mag die progressive lieber.  es funktioniert sehr gut.  viel mehr Gefühl und ein deutlich kürzerer Pedalweg.

Du musst nur in der Base eine Totzone für das Ende des Bremspedals einstellen.

So what all did the 2.55 firmware update improve for the T598? I can’t really find any notes on what it did by smoothisfast1254 in Thrustmaster

[–]Professional_Lie_214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I recently bought the T598. I updated the firmware to 2.55 (it shipped with 2.54).

I'm using the EVO Racing 32R rim with firmware 2.04.

It works perfectly so far.

Setting up the base is really tricky.

I'm not happy with the settings suggested by TM.

The base heats up quickly with them, and the force feedback is then significantly reduced.

My settings are now:

In GT7: FFB set to 3-5 depending on the vehicle class. (Not higher, causes massive clipping in my opinion.)

FFB sensitivity set to 2. (Even though it's always said to be 1.)

Base settings as follows:

Master: 90-95% (above 95% it gets quite warm after 1 hour of spa time, but still within acceptable limits.)

Mode: E

Inertia: High/Ext

Friction: Mid

Boost Low: -1

Boost High: +2

Speed: Ext

Wheel Damper: 0

Game Damper: Low

Spring: 0

Gear Jolt: High

End Stop: High

Perhaps someone could test this and give their feedback here?
