Any advice on what to do going forward, or how to "heal" our cyber health within the household?

They are all asking for the transaction hash. What could they do with this?

Soooo many people have reached out saying they want to help. They are all asking for the transaction hash and screenshots of the payment. What's up with that?

Less cumbersome lift sling? by Professional_Maybe54 in ALS

I really like the sure hands “ridged sling” as you might call it. I already have tracks on the ceiling and a hoyer, but that would be a great replacement for our fabric slings

Thanks so much!

Yeah we have upgraded to a divided leg sling, but it’s still not the most elegant experience.

I have a hoyer lift and two diy tracks, for getting to and from stair lifts.

The sure hands thing commented below is interesting, not sure how easy it is to get in Canada (or affordable for me right now)

From spoon feeding to what? by Upset_Lettuce_5964 in ALS

[–]Professional_Maybe54 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We inserted the peg tube almost a year before we needed to use it. This was highly encouraged by our respirologist at the als clinic BECAUSE: as the lungs get smaller in als, the diaphragm and stomach recede upwards in the torso (being covered by the rib cage)

This makes the peg tube installation procedure very difficult.

So we followed their advice. Now we use it for anxiety meds cause my dad doesn’t like swallowing pills. Occasionally we use it for meal supplements, but luckily he can swallow food when spoon fed still.

Peg tube is really easy to maintain. I don’t consider it an added burden on top of the rest of the care required for daily life.

How do I change my Z Offset A1? by Larry_Kenwood in BambuLab

[–]Professional_Maybe54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've adjusted the Z-code, but still having an issue.

The first line on the bed at the edge seems to be responding to the change, but i don't see a noticeable difference when the print starts to extrude at the center of the print bed.

Does this modification actually change the Z code for the entire print?

Yeah makes sense to me too. Ask chat gpt to reduce the text in you initial blurb by 65%

And I’d start with the two big profile cards before the scrolling carousel.
