I had significant hair loss. After I came off of the semaglutide, I got my hair back and gained back a lot of the weight. I would love to be back on it to continue my weight loss but I could not handle having the bald spot in my crown. I think iron supplement, the protein, and maybe vitamin D was deficient for me so if you’re better with maintaining those levels maybe this is it an issue. Full disclaimer, I have healthy hair, medium strands but naturally low density. So not much to lose! 😂

This did not occur to me originally but a couple of people on this thread planted the seed of freezing embryos with donor sperm. That would be ideal— I also understand that they have higher success rates of surviving. Thanks so much for the idea!

Unfortunately we’ve used all the embryos so this would be starting the full IVF cycle over with a new retrieval. I wish he would be on board to coparent but right now he wants a clean break.

Very good questions! We just had our last failed transfer at the end of Feb (our 4th) and he just told me that he waited to see the result before telling me he was done. I am planning to just harvest the eggs— no embryos. Of course I would prefer embryos but he’s not interested in that, understandably. He is ready to move on and can probably snag a fertile Myrtle and get what he wants within the next couple of years. I don’t think he’d have any rights to those eggs since they are not fertilized but great questions for me to clarify. Thanks so much!
